Helping Families With Difficult Legal Problems
We handle matters related to complex domestic relations. We’ve served the family law needs of Georgia residents for over 40 years. Our family law practice focuses on complex divorce, child support and custody, and post-divorce enforcement matters.
When you retain us, you are not only hiring an attorney, you are hiring a team of professionals. If you face an issue in one of our practice areas, contact us.
Our Areas Of Practice
We have extensive experience handling the following family law matters:
- Divorce or separation: We employ a collaborative and results-oriented approach when handling complex divorce cases. We file the necessary court pleadings, ascertain the status of clients’ assets and debts, and employ experts in various fields. We use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, such as mediation, in trying to resolve the issues.
- Child custody and support: Our child custody practice involves delving into the history of the parties and the relationships they have had with their children. We use information from teachers, doctors, psychologists and others to determine the optimal conditions for the child’s stability. We put our familiarity with the Georgia Child Support Guidelines to good use when handling child support cases.
- Post-divorce decree enforcement: We represent clients on both sides of an enforcement issue – those trying to enforce a decree and those being sued for not complying with one. We work with the courts to impose sanctions on people who fail to comply with divorce-related orders. We also help clients secure post-divorce decree modifications if circumstances have substantially changed regarding custody, alimony or spousal support, visitation schedules and other related matters.
Your family is the most important thing to you, and we will always take great care with your case. We will pursue the best outcome for you based on your family’s needs and goals.
